Denyelle was part of the founding team that built Apple Retail. She later led the turnaround of Pure Beauty, guiding the company from bankruptcy to a successful sale to Regis. She then held senior leadership roles at Peet's Coffee, contributing to the performance that led to its acquisition by JAB Holding Company. She later helped transform Drybar from a small unprofitable business into a profitable national brand, stabilized and repositioned Tender Greens, and served as CEO and Board Member of Pet Food Express.
